In the event organised within the scope of Sector-Student Meetings, which attracted great interest this year, Denizli Chamber of Commerce HAB Member Oktay Mersin, Bez Tekstil Vice Chairman Güliz Kelleci and GESİFED Chairman Hakan Urhan, who are experienced names of Denizli business world, came together with our students.
Faculty members and students of our faculty participated intensively in the programme held in the Şehit Piyade Teğmen Bekir Can Kerek Conference Hall. In the event, topics such as the dynamics of making a career in the private sector, the expectations of the business world from young graduates and changing employment conditions were discussed.
While Oktay Mersin emphasised that hard work is the basis of achieving success, Hakan Urhan drew attention to the advantages of taking an early step into business life with an assertive attitude in career development. Güliz Kelleci talked about the transformations in the textile sector.
In the conversation moderated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatih Akçay, Head of the Department of Public Finance, the speakers shared their career journeys and our students had the opportunity to find answers to their questions about career planning in the private sector.
