GENERAL INFORMATION

 

Pamukkale University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences has an International Joint Undergraduate Program (UOLP) agreement with State University of New York (SUNY)-Cortland, the largest university system in the United States. In this context, if you are admitted to our departments, which you will see as Political Science and Public Administration (English) (UOLP-SUNY Cortland) and Economics (English) (UOLP-SUNY Cortland) in the preference guide.

 

*After the English preparatory education (exemption from the preparatory education is possible if sufficient points are obtained), the first two years will be studied at Pamukkale University and the last two years will be studied at SUNY Cortland. In order to start their studies at SUNY-Cortland, our students are required to achieve a certain language proficiency before going to the USA. (Duolingo 90; TOEFL IBT 72, IELTS 5.5). No SAT test results are required from our students.

 

*Upon successful completion of the programs, our students will receive the SUNY Cortland diploma, which will be recognized as directly equivalent by both Pamukkale University and YÖK in Turkey.

 

*Our students will have the opportunity to work up to 20 hours per week on campus during their studies at SUNY Cortland.

 

*As part of the agreement and curriculum, students will have the opportunity for paid internships with the New York State Assembly, the U.S. Senate, government agencies and organizations, and related non-governmental organizations.

 

*Students will be eligible for Curricular Practical Training (CPT) during their studies and Optional Practical Training (OPT) after graduation, which provides legal work authorization in the United States.

 

* All of our students will be eligible to receive the "International Students Award" offered by the State University of New York, which is set at $7500 per year for the 2023-2024 academic year. Students with an academic average of 2.75 and above during their studies at SUNY Cortland will be eligible for additional scholarships.

 

*Students will have the opportunity to work in multinational and international institutions and organizations by getting to know two different cultures closely.
