Faculty of Education commemorated Atatürk on November 10

Pamukkale University Faculty of Education organized a program to commemorate the 85th anniversary of the passing away of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk on November 10th.
Dean of the Faculty of Education Prof. Dr. İzzet Kara, Dean of the Faculty of Music and Performing Arts Prof. Dr. Efe Akbulut, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences Prof. Dr. Sevgi Özkan, faculty members and students attended the commemoration ceremony held in the Faculty of Education Foyer area.
After the moment of silence and the reading of the National Anthem, the Choir of the Faculty of Education, Department of Fine Arts Education, Department of Music Education presented a concert titled "An Appeal to Atatürk from the Youth in the 100th Anniversary of our Republic" under the conducting of Dr. Faculty Member Aykut Önder Sarıçiftçi.
PAU Poetry Society students participated in the commemoration program with their poems.
Afterwards, the exhibition titled "Basic Documents of our Republic in the 100th Anniversary of our Republic and Denizli Memory" prepared by the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey State Archives and brought by the initiatives of Prof. Dr. Yasin Doğan, Lecturer of Social Sciences Teaching, was visited.
Another exhibition was Hanri Benazus' Atatürk Photographs Collection, which was brought by the initiative of Prof. Süleyman İnan, Lecturer of Social Studies Teaching.
At the end of the program, Dean of the Faculty of Education Prof. Dr. İzzet Kara presented a plaque to Prof. Dr. Yasin Doğan and Head of Fine Arts Education Department Prof. Dr. Feryal Beykal Orhun for their contributions.
Dean of the Faculty of Music and Performing Arts Prof. Dr. Efe Akbulut presented a plaque to Prof. Dr. Aykut Önder Sarıçiftçi.
