History
Our faculty was first established in 1996 in the Bozkurt district of Denizli as the Physical Education and Sports Teaching Department affiliated to the Faculty of Education.
Later, our school moved to Denizli Merkez Incilipınar Campus Faculty of Education in 2002. Then, the establishment of the School of Sports Sciences and Technology under the Rectorate of Pamukkale University; Upon the letter of the Ministry of National Education dated 18/04/2002 and numbered 10656, it was decided by the Council of Ministers on 25/04/2002 in accordance with the amended additional article 30 of the 28/03/1983 dated and 2809 numbered Law. Student admission has started as of the 2004 - 2005 academic year.
In 2014, the decision to establish a Faculty of Sport Sciences affiliated to Pamukkale University Rectorate; According to the additional article 30 of the Law No. 2809 dated 28/3/1983 of the Ministry of National Education, it was taken by the Council of Ministers on 14/8/2014 and published in the list (1) of the Official Gazette dated 26 August 2014 and numbered 29100.
