2024-2025 Academic Year Final Registration Information

 

 

REGISTRATION WILL NOT BE MADE WITH THE MISSING DOCUMENT

Registration procedures are carried out with the candidate's application himself/herselfRegistration is not made by proxy.

Registration Dates: 19.08.2024-27.09.2024

1) The original of the passport and the student visa page or the ID and the notarized copy in Turkish,

2) The original of the high school diploma or high school level education certificate and the notarized sample in Turkish (those who apply with a temporary graduation certificate must bring the original diploma),

3) The original of the diploma equivalence certificate (It can be obtained from Provincial Directorates of National Education or Turkish Foreign Representative Offices. It is not required from high school graduates affiliated to the Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Türkiye, from schools opened by the Republic of Türkiye abroad, from schools operating abroad according to the Law on Turkish Maarif Foundation dated 17/6/2016 and numbered 6721, and from public and private schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.),

4) The original TR-YÖS result document (TRNC nationality; GCE AL exam results for candidates who reside in TRNC and completed their secondary education (high school) in TRNC and for candidates who enrolled in colleges and high schools in other countries between 2005-2010),

5) Original of the transcript and Turkish notarized copy of the transcript showing all grades obtained during high school education,

6) For those residing in Türkiye, a document showing their Turkish ID number,

7)For dual nationality and Blue Card applicants, a certified and verifiable detailed birth certificate (the document must contain information on renunciation of citizenship/other nationality),

8) Notarized copy of the Blue Card for Blue Card Holders (provided that the original is seen),

9) Turkish notary approved ID/passport sample of other nationality for dual nationality and Blue Card candidates,

10) A certified and verifiable document indicating that the applicants who are Turkish citizens or dual nationals who have completed their secondary education (high school) abroad, have entered and exited Türkiye and the country where they studied during their education period (The certificate must cover the entire period from the beginning to the end of high school education),

11) Bank receipt showing that the contribution fee has been deposited to the relevant bank (For fees: https://www.pau.edu.tr/yurtdisi/tr/sayfa/ogren),

12) 4 biometric passport size photos of 4.5 x 6 cm,

13) Turkish proficiency certificate, if any (Turkish Proficiency Certificate issued by Pamukkale University Language Teaching Application and Research Center (PADAM) or Yunus Emre Institute),

14) If any of the applicants apply to the departments providing education in a foreign language, a foreign language proficiency certificate (Those who have obtained sufficient points from YDS-UDS-KPDS or international exams considered equivalent by the Council of Higher Education),

15) An official Turkish notarized document or Turkish notarized letter of undertaking showing that he/she has the income to make a living in Türkiye and a Livelihood Assurance Declaration Form (You can access the sample of Livelihood Assurance Declaration Form and Letter of Commitment from the attached file. Notarized copy of the contracting person's identity / passport, payroll, bank account information, etc. will be added to the commitment),

16) Candidate students who will enroll in programs that require a committee report in ÖSYM YKS guide and candidate students who will enroll in programs that require a committee report from programs that take students through special talent, a committee report from university hospitals and / or a full-fledged official hospital certifying that they do not have physical and mental disabilities that will prevent them from carrying out this profession during and after education (Acıpayam Vocational School Private Security And Protection Pr.; Bozkurt Vocational School Civil Air Transportation Management Pr.; Honaz Vocational School Criminal Enforcement And Security Services Pr.)

17) A document stating that general health insurance has been obtained (The insurance for the residence permit can be submitted during the registration phase; however, if a legal regulation is made, students will be notified again after registration)

18) Since it is essential to have received education in the relevant country during high school education, for candidates who graduated from the Open Education High School abroad program affiliated to the Ministry of National Education, a certified and verifiable document showing their entry and exit to and from Turkey and the country where they studied during the education period (The document must include the entire period from the beginning to the end of high school education),

19) Acceptance letter.

Important Considerations

  • During the document checks, the registrations of candidates who make statements contrary to the truth during the placement and registration process, who are found to have misled the administration by any action or transaction, are not registered, even if they have been registered, their registrations are deleted.
  • All submitted documents must have a valid date before the validity period has expired.
  • Graduates of secondary education (high school) institutions affiliated to the Turkish Ministry of National Education (MoNE) in Türkiye and abroad, TRNC citizens graduating from TRNC high schools and Turkish citizens graduating from TRNC high schools are considered to have sufficient Turkish language skills.
  • Candidates who do not have a valid Turkish Proficiency Certificate can attend Turkish courses organized by PADAM or Turkish Courses organized by other higher education institutions. These students must inform the International Student Office about the course they have attended and the city they will be located in within 15 (fifteen) days. 
  • The Turkish Proficiency Exam date and place information for candidates who do not have a valid Turkish Proficiency Certificate will be announced on the websites of the International Students Office and PADAM. Students are not notified in other forms.
  • Candidates who are entitled to enroll in programs whose medium of instruction is Turkish must have at least C1 level Turkish Proficiency Certificate issued by PADAM or Yunus Emre Institute, taken in the last 2 (two) years as of the date of declaration, in order to start their education.
  • In order for the candidates who have the right to enroll in programs that provide education with 30% foreign language to start their education, they must have at least C1 level Turkish Proficiency Certificate issued by PADAM or Yunus Emre Institute within 1 (one) year from the date of registration, taken in the last two years as of the date of declaration.
  • Students admitted to programs that provide education with 100% and 30% foreign languages, 

a) must be successful in the foreign language exemption exam to be held by the Directorate of the School of Foreign Languages of our University (SFL). However, those who have obtained sufficient points from YDS-UDS-KPDS or international exams deemed equivalent by the Council of Higher Education are deemed to be exempt from the Foreign Language Preparatory Class and the Foreign Language exemption exam by the decision of the SFL.

b) Foreign students enrolled in departments with compulsory foreign language preparatory classes are obliged to comply with the Regulation on Foreign Language Teaching and the Principles to be Followed in Foreign Language Teaching at Higher Education Institutions. Foreign language preparatory class exemption exams, exemption evaluations and foreign language preparatory class education are conducted by SFL.
