PAMUKKALE UNIVERSITY FACULTY OF HEALTH SCIENCES
The Faculty of Health Sciences houses the departments of Nursing and Social Services. The Department of Nursing began its education within the Denizli School of Health, which opened in 1996, and continues its education within the Faculty and its building with the establishment of the Faculty of Health Sciences in 2015. Our Department of Social Services opened in 2018 but has not yet begun education. The Department of Nursing has a total of seven departments: Fundamentals of Nursing, Internal Medicine Nursing, Surgical Nursing, Obstetrics and Gynecology Nursing, Pediatric Nursing, Public Health Nursing, and Mental Health Nursing. Our building includes classrooms and lecture halls for education and training, as well as a professional skills laboratory where professional skills can be developed. The goal is to teach students professional skills in providing care using appropriate methods using up-to-date technological tools. Established for this purpose, the professional skills laboratory allows students to: It aims to ensure that students receive education through systematic, safe, and effective educational strategies appropriate to their abilities and degrees. Professional practice skills training is provided at Pamukkale University Education and Research Hospital and other public institutions within the province. At the end of the four-year program, our students graduate with the title of "Nurse." The Farabi Exchange Program and Erasmus+ exchange programs are active at our faculty. Postgraduate programs offered within the Institute of Health Sciences include Fundamentals of Nursing, Internal Medicine Nursing, Surgical Nursing, Pediatric Nursing, Obstetrics and Gynecology Nursing, Public Health Nursing, and Psychiatric Nursing. Additionally, doctoral programs are offered in the Department of Nursing, Department of Pediatric Nursing, and Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology Nursing.
