ACCORDING TO PAMUKKALE UNIVERSITY LANGUAGE TEACHING APPLICATION AND RESEARCH CENTER REGULATION

 

Duties of the manager

ARTICLE 9 – (1) The duties of the Director are as follows:

a) Representing the center,

b) To implement the decisions of the Board of Directors and manage the Center in accordance with the provisions of this Regulation and other relevant legislation,

c) To prepare an activity report and a program for the following year regarding the activities of the center at the end of each year and submit it to the Board of Directors,

ç) To ensure cooperation with relevant institutions in the country and abroad,

d) To determine the staff and project managers who will take part in the working groups or research projects and to make a proposal to the board of directors for their appointment.

 

Duties of the board of directors

ARTICLE 11 – (1) The duties of the Board of Directors are as follows:

a) To prepare the annual activity program and report of the Center and submit it to the Rector for approval,

b) To take decisions regarding the management and work of the Center within the framework of its establishment purposes and the provisions of this Regulation,

c) To establish temporary or permanent working groups depending on the subjects and characteristics of the projects to be carried out within the Center, to decide on the people to be assigned to these groups upon the recommendation of the Director and to submit them to the Rector for their appointment,

ç) Upon the recommendation of the Director, to determine the personnel needs of the Center, to prepare and implement exams for the selection of faculty members, and to decide on suggestions regarding assignments to be made and submit them to the Rector's approval,

d) Evaluating the opinions and suggestions determined by the Advisory Board and reporting to the Advisory Board about which ones have been put into practice and what benefits have been achieved,

e) To determine the distribution methods of copyright and patent rights and income in accordance with the relevant legislation.

 

Duties of the advisory board

ARTICLE 13 – (1) The Advisory Board meets at least twice a year upon the call of the director. It evaluates the activities of the center and makes recommendations to the Board of Directors. Members of the Advisory Board may submit their opinions to the Director in writing, outside the Board meetings, on issues within the scope of the Center's purpose and areas of activity.
