In our university, as of 03.04.2023, regarding the form of education for the Spring Semester of the 2022-2023 Academic Year; it has been decided;
1- To provide face-to-face education in classrooms without the requirement of attendance for students who wish to participate in distance education, which is currently being implemented,
2- Except for the students who continue face-to-face education as of 20.02.2023, a course conducted by distance education method at our University will be given face-to-face simultaneously as of 03.04.2023, and the necessary physical environment arrangements for this will be made by the relevant academic units,
3- Not to apply the restriction in Article 6 of the current "Procedures and Principles Regarding Distance Education in Higher Education Institutions" that a maximum of 30% of the courses in a semester according to ECTS credits can be given through distance education,
4- Students who are continuing their education in another higher education institution as a special student can continue their education in the same way,
5- To be decided by the relevant committees that the "practices of the courses", which were postponed to April, can be done face-to-face in the form of homework, projects, etc. or in the spring semester, summer semester or the next education and training period,
6- Midterm exams in the spring semester (except for students who continue face-to-face education as of 20.02.2023 and programs that include practical education for which special student rights are granted) to be held online with distance education methods by the relevant Academic Units based on the principle of "transparency and auditability",
7- Open-ended or multiple-choice online exams, assignments, online quizzes, projects, Learning Management System (LMS) activities, LMS usage analytics and similar applications can be used in the evaluations to be made,
8- When and how exams such as end-of-semester, single course, thesis monitoring, proficiency exams will be held will be determined by the authorized boards of academic units.
