Quality Management and Data Evaluation Application and Research Center (KAVDEM) operates in order to ensure the sustainability of the internal quality assurance system of our University. The monitoring of the internal and external evaluation processes that must be fulfilled by our university within the framework of the Higher Education Quality Assurance and the Higher Education Quality Board Regulation is carried out by our center as the secretariat of the Quality Commission. In this context, the processes of preparing the Internal Evaluation Report of the Institution and collecting YÖKAK Performance Indicator data are carried out annually. In addition, monitoring criteria and other data preparation/evaluation activities requested by the Council of Higher Education from our university are also organized.

a) To provide consultancy to other public institutions and organizations, especially Universities and University sub-units, as well as private sector organizations within the scope of management, quality management and accreditation issues.

b) To plan, implement, evaluate and carry out national and international quality improvement and accreditation projects. 

c) To carry out trainings both inside and outside the University on quality and accreditation issues. 

ç) To carry out studies to ensure the dissemination of total quality management principles and international standards in the university, public institutions and organizations of quality culture and in the private sector.

d) To carry out activities interactively with the Quality Commission in the evaluation of quality policies and objectives, strategic planning, internal and external evaluation, quality improvement and improvement studies, graduate monitoring, training planning, internal control processes and related information processing studies that fall within the fields of activity of the Quality Commission. 

e) To make scientific publications at home and abroad in accordance with the purpose of establishment of the center and the activities it performs.

f) To cooperate and carry out joint studies with other universities, application-research centers and related units at home and abroad. 

g) To organize seminars, conferences, congresses, symposiums, panels, courses, summer schools and similar scientific meetings at national and international level. 

ğ) To carry out studies, projects, analyses and similar studies, to prepare reports, to provide consultancy and expert services upon the requests of real persons and domestic and foreign organizations, especially university units, in accordance with the purpose of establishment.

h) To collect, classify, analyze, report and submit the necessary institutional data related to the University to the relevant units. 

ı) To support the processes of designing databases and related software for obtaining corporate data contained in Management Information Systems. 

i) To ensure the establishment and effective operation of the in-house self-assessment system, to share the results obtained periodically with the relevant units using different communication methods. 

j) To provide an application area for students and researchers in undergraduate and postgraduate studies related to quality. 

k) To carry out other works in accordance with the purpose of establishment of the center.
